Minutes of 9/26/22 Public Tax Levy Hearing for Missouri City, Missouri
The Missouri City, Missouri, City Council met at 7:00 pm on Monday, September 26th, 2022, at the MCCA Building for a public hearing to establish the 2022 city tax levy. Those attending: Mayor Barry Moore, Clerk Monte Railey and Council members Mickey Stewart, Joe Selle and Johanna Davis.
The State of Missouri set the tax ceiling at $.8179 per $100.00 assessment. Ordinance #2022 was read once in entirety and twice by title by Mayor Moore. Councilwoman Davis made a motion to adopt Ordinance #2022 to set the 2022 levy at $.8179, or as modified by the Hancock Amendment Rollback Form RSMO 137.138. Councilman Selle seconded the motion and it passed by a vote of 3-0.
Hearing adjourned. The next monthly Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, 10/10/22.
