Old Business

Evergy/Streetlight issues:  Waiting for Evergy to make repairs and/or  installations of new lights on existing poles.

Fire Station Repairs:  The City has received two bids for the roof repairs.  Mayor Moore is working on obtaining a third bid per Fishing River Fire Protection District requirements.

City Hall Doors:  John Tennant’s bid to use fiberglass doors with a wood like surface on the front door at the old City Hall bid was discussed.  Not everyone had seen details of the bid so a final vote was postponed.  The Council agreed that, due to excessive cost, fiberglass with wood like surface is the way to go.  The Clerk will resend the bid to everyone.

Ditch clearing:  Work will start soon.  Mayor Moore has shown the party where to clear and what trees to remove.  A forty foot culvert will be installed at the west end of Talley Alley where it intersects Wood street.

Adding to Capital Sand Drive to 911 database:  The City Clerk reported to the Council that emergency agencies and the 911 database have been advised of new public street Capitol Drive and the sand plant location at 200 Capitol Sand Drive.
He is following up with Hannah Ankenbaur, the 911 Database Specialist with MARC, to verify map location.

Overgrown Lots:  Mayor Moore is compiling information to the Clerk to send letters notifying property owners in violation of the Nuisance Ordinance for overgrown yards.

New Business

Website Community Calendar:  Missouri City Christian Church Small Mall will be held at the church on December 16th, 2023, from 9am until noon.
